10-key not working

Has anyone ran into a problem in which the 10-key pad will not work in
Excel ? The num lock key is on, and the 10-key works in other
applications, just not in Excel. I am using Excel 98

If I remember well, you'll have to strike the "F14" key. Maybe holding the
Apple key, I'm not too sure.
