100% removal of Office 2008 Home and Studentto allow Business Edition upgrade?

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange Forgive the cross posting...

I've searched around but I am clearly missing something here.

I purchased Office 2008 Home and Student and started at a new company that requires me to update to Office 2008 Business Edition (for Exchange).

I uninstalled Office 2008 and tried a reinstall with the new CD and no good.

I tried deleting EVERYTHING I could find (In Library/Preferences etc.) That had Office 2008 listed and still when I install it tells me (even though I use the new product key) that I have Home and Student.

What am I doing wrong? From what I can tell, Home and Student and BE are basically the same binaries and the Product Key tells the install what edition you are using.

Any ideas folks?

Thanks!

Use "Remove Office"

See directions here:
