16 MB limit ?

Exchange 2003 server standard MB limit per database and it has 5 dbs. If we
were to create 2 or 3 storage groups using a db for each group, how would
that effect internal/external e-mail communication? What about drive
performance?

Also, does this apply to Exchange 2000 server standard version?

Thanks in advance.

Asking in an Exchanghe newsgroup would seem more appropriate.

It's 16GB, not MB. And you can't have multiple databases/storage groups in
Standard. Just in Enterprise. That said, post this to an Exchange newsgroup
such as m.p.exchange.admin with more detail and I'm sure you're going to get
more help.
