New settings for Entourage 2008 on an Exchange 2007 server;

Entourage settings for 1and1.com

Authentication:
-Use My Account Information
--Account ID: eXXXXXXXXX (can be found on your 1and1 control panel
under MS Exchange)
--Domain: EXCHANGE
--Password: xxxxxxxxx

Server Information:
-Exchange Server: <https://exchange.1and1.com/exchange/[email protected]>
(Uncheck the Use SSL box that will click on underneath)

If you have public folders, then under the Advanced tab;
-Public Folders Server: <https://exchange.1and1.com/public/>
(Uncheck the Use SSL box that will click on underneath)

Saved me a lot of grief! 1and1 told me that I couldn't use Entourage with their exchange server, it wasn't "possible." Well, I used your settings and it worked perfectly. Thank you very much for posting it.

First - THANK YOU for putting this up. I just followed your instructions with success and everything is downloading nicely

FYI - I spent 1 hour on the phone with 1and1 over my .pst archive and setting up entourage - very disappointing customer service. The conclusion from the support person was that it must be my problem.

Bottom line: community support was my saving grace. I suggest users file a compliant with them if you have poor service.
