2 - "BCM Contacts" and Regular "Contacts", 1 -Extracting Email List

1. When I have business contacts that I also to maintain in my regular
contacts (for WM5 purposes, caller ID only works with regular contacts)
- does that "file" get updates in both places when I update one or the
other?

2. When I add new Business contacts in Outlook, how can I send the new
contacts to BCM Cointacts, without duplicating the files that are
already there? When I export a whole batch, doe sthe software
automatically detect same entries and update, or does it creat
duplicate files?

3. Any way to extract a list of emails from all contacts? I want to
insert emails into email newsletter...

Thank you.

No it doesn't. They are complete separate databases.

I woudl recommend you try it. Try it on one that you know is already there
and see if it duplicates itself or not.

How are you doing this? Are you initiating it from Word or another source?

I am unsure of what platform to use and how to do it. I am planning a
monthly email of news and events for business contacts, former clients,
etc. (I am a speech-language pathologist www.schneiderspeech.com)

- Any tips on simple, inexpensive or free platform to do the job.

- Tips on extracting emails from BCM and Outlook Contacts?

Thanks

I would suggest a mailing service such as Microsoft's List Builder. If you
send that many out at one time you may have issues with your ISP and Spam
filters.

Outlook Mail Merge feature will create that newsletter for you based on an
existing Word document. There is a view to see all e-mail addresses as well,
if you want to do this manually. Search for mail merge in Outlook help.
BCM has campaigns feature as well.

Outlook will do the job just fine and I do this often. You may need a
special arrangement with your ISP to enable you to send all this e-mail,
however.
