2 columns in a report

I'm making a report of students in a class. Just surname and firstname and
i'd like to fit it on as little place as poss can i make the data come in 2
or maybe 3 columns?

With your report in design view, select File and Page set up from the main
menu.
Click on the columns tab and select 2 or 3 columns and the direction to print.
This page setup will be saved with your report when you exit and save the
report.
