2 computers, 1 cached mode, 1 not cached mode

I have a user who has 2 computers. One computer is a
desktop with cached mode turned off and the other is a
laptop with cached mode on. I have strange errors where
the views and settings on the desktop and laptop keep
changing. Sometimes the views will become corrupted and
need to be reset.
