Hey there,
I just purchased a new computer and after installing MS Office 2003 I copied
my outlook.pst file from my old to my new. Started up Outlook and there it
was, not a problem. BUT, when I rebooted and Outlook starts I have my usual
folders under my mailbox named "John" and another set of folders also called
"John" that is identical. Same data in all folder. If I get a new mail, it
appears in both Inboxes. When I delete it, it's moved from the Inbox to the
Deleted Items under both sets. Granted everything seems to work ok, I'm not
missing any mail or contacts or anything. It's just a bit weird. The only
difference I can see between the 2 is the icon that is displayed for the 2
groups. The real one has the icon it's suppose to have of the little house
but the other has a little rolodex/files kind of icon like archive or public
folders. Can't remove like and archive group though.
Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of my second set of folders?
