We have Project Server 2003 and SQL Server 2000 on same machine. New server
is now on it's way.
I wonder what kind of architecture gives best performance when these
machines are not equal in performance.
Basically, which one, database- or application server should be more
powerful ?
Right now our implementation consists of:
- little more than 500 projects, 1500-2000 in future.
- mostly generic resources, less than 50 active
- 15 people updating plans (i.e. Proj. professional users). max. 50-100 in
future.
- 50 people using just PWA, 100 - 300 in future.
- very minor OLAP usage
Any tips would be nice,
