2 pages per sheet when printing ?

I have a colleague who has created a document with 6 pages.
They've set the page setup dimensions to A5 size,
but would like to print 2 pages side by side on an A4 page.

Any idea how you do this please ?

If you have Word XP or later, it has the ability to print two, four, 6, 8 or
12 pages on a single sheet of paper.

See the article “Booklet printing” at:

This won't be possible using the "2 pages per sheet" option, which is
designed to reduce larger pages to fit 2-up. An alternative that would
require less reformatting than any other would be to choose the "2 pages per
sheet" option in Page Setup, which creates a document that is actually set
up with two pages per sheet. You can format the pages just the same as if
they were single pages, but they print two to a sheet. Since the font and
margin size are already correct, the only change that would be needed would
be the "2 pages per sheet" setting and a change to the A4 paper size
(setting "2 pages per sheet" automatically changes the orientation from
portrait to landscape). This option also has the advantage that you can see
the two pages side by side in Print Preview.
