2 sites on one URL

Probably an easy one for you experts out there. I am trying to demo a
new site on my own URL which already has my own site on it. I want to
set up the demo so that I can access it by going to
www.myURL/demosite.

Frontpage doesn't appear to allow me to create folders into which to
place the demo site either on the remote server or on my pc.

Can anyone help a novice frontpage user?

you would create the folders before hand? I.e. you can create the folder through
Windows explorer, then in the open web publish the folder with the files
contained in it?

you can create new folders - under the 'save as' on File Menu, in the dialogue,
when you click File > Save As on the tool bar you can choose th create new folder
so you can save your newly created pages there.. Or use Subwebs - I don't use
those - but it should be possible.

Then you just publish the changed pages, or do a full publish or whatever your
usual procedure is.

1) Make sure your host support subwebs (many don't)
2) If they do, Publish your demo to a subweb using the url
http://www.myURL/demosite in File Publish Web/Site
