2 versions of Office 2003

My Niece has a computer that has Office 2003 Standard AND Office 2003
Professional listed under Add/Remove Programs. However, there is only one
listing for Microsoft Office under the main Start button / All Programs.

Will uninstalling the Office 2003 Standard leave all of the Professional
programs?

I suspect that it will remove pieces of Professional. If you want to
clean up Add/Remove, I'd suggest going the brute-force method and
uninstall both Office entries and then reinstall Pro.

It likely means that Office std was origonally installed then upgraded with
Pro.
The upgrade would only have added the components not included in Std
edition.

Either uninstall Std, if the entry offends you, then reinstall Pro or leave
it alone as the only thing you will gain is the removal of Std in the
Add/Remove dialogue.
