Gang,

On my office PC, we use Microsoft Access 2000 compile architectural data for our homeowners association's annual property reports.

Whenever I enter our term which we use to denote the rear of the property in question...which is an (R)...it automatically turns into an R with a circle around it...the symbol for registered trademarks.

How can I configure the program to stop doing this?

Thanks very much,

Your picking up a Tools + Autocorrect change.
Simply set the Form control's AllowAutoCorrect property to No.
It's on the Other tab of the property sheet.

Or ... delete the reference to (R) in the autocorrect file. This will
affect all Office programs, however.

Rick,

That's not it...Auto Correct is grayed out.
