2000 crash; where is correct file

my Outlook 2000 crashed (my current file is lost) because
of a program relocator...it apparently has overwritten the
current outlook file with the source file without warning
me. Any suggestions?

Next time, back up your files. Have you tried looking in your trash for the
files?
