2000 Office Pro to 2003 Standard

I had office professional 2000 loaded on my computer. Subsequently I
purchased and installed office standard 2003. I am trying to uninstall the
2000 pro but I keep on getting error message 1316 when I try, PLEASE HELP!!

you upgrade an existing installation to Office 2000 SR-1 Full Install
