paper size 3x5 allways says margins set outside print area. also chg default
says chg all. does this only apply to document am working on? trying to mail
merge to cards for announcer for parade.Need small cards with fields of data
on them. merge fields are inside of document on screen. Where do I go?

Use a larger paper size with margins set so that the text will coincide with
the desired position on the cards as they are fed into the printer. The
only way that Word knows what size paper is in the printer is because you
tell it.
