2002 Office updates for 2003 Office XP?

I've just finished installing some updates for MS Office
2003 XP (I hope). However, there other updates that I
didn't install; namely

Word 2002 Security Patch: KB824934

Outlook 2002 Update: January 22, 2003

Excel 2002 Update: October 16, 2002

Office XP WordPerfect 5.xConverter Security Patch: KB824938
(English version)

Access 2002 Snapshot Viewer Security Patch: KB826293
(English version)

Are the patches for 2002 MS Office components necessary if
I'm running MS Office 2003 XP?

Is the Office XP WordPerfect 5.xConverter Security Patch
necessary if I'm using WordPerfect 11?

Hi Chuck,

The updates for Office 2003 beta and Office XP (2002)
are separate. The converter for Wordperfect is used
by Word to open WordPerfect files, no matter which version
of Word or Wordperfect. Wordperfect does not make use
of the converter.
