2002 to 2000 compatibility--help please

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to translate a macro
in Microsoft Access 2002 for XP back to Access 2000?

The marco runs fine on XP but on 2000 it stops and gives
the error "Compile error: Can't find project or library."

When I open the module in question, and go to
tools/references, I see the following one missing:
"Microsoft Excel 10.0 Object Library."

What should my next step be in this? Can I download this
reference library?

If anyone has any insight or advice I would greatly
appreciate it, I am not a vb programmer but have been
asked to solve this problem.

Hi Lynne,

try de-selecting this entry and then selecting
the "Microsoft Excel 9.0 Object Library." instead.

Excel 2002 is Excel 10.0, Excel 2000 is Excel 9.0.

Thanks for the reply...I tried it and got "compile error:
method or data member not found."
