Does anyone know if it also works with Office 2003?

Hi Daniel,

The 2002 Proofing Tools can't be installed if
you have only Office 2003 on your PC but they
should continue to function 'as is' if you upgrade
from Office XP to Office 2003 and they were already
installed.
