We are going to do a feasibility check for upgrading 2002
to 2003. We are currently running Project Server 2002 and
PWA. Two of the issues we are still having with Project
2002 are 1) Radical growth of transaction log, 2) Won't
accept these characters /";:<>|[],.'?~`!$%^&*()-+={}\ from
the name of the cube, project plans, Enterprise Templates,
resources, fields or codes. We are doing working around
but don't feel they are acceptable for so-called
enterprise solution application such as Project 2002.
Wondering if anyone can shed some lights in two areas
above and also list some major fixes and major benefits of
upgrading to 2003. Or point out research papers or sites
that you know of for me to look into.
Thanks a million in advance.
