Hi Team,
I am Implementing a Project 2007 Server Model for our Company.
The Project Server is running well with no problems in publishing Projects
to the Server, editing, etc.
Currently all our PM's run Project 2003, But we have two PC running Project
2007 so we can evaluate the system.
We opened a 2003 Master Schedule in 2007 and edited a few values and then
saved the Master again in 2003 Format as promted by the application. This was
done so that our PM's running 2003 could still use the file. When then
reopened the file this morning to update it and found all the Master schedule
to be Jiberish, lines were added, moved, out of order, reorganised and
nothing was as it should have been when it was saved.
Is there any known isues in formatting etc between 2003 and 2007 ? that may
have caused the mess ? We have redundancy built into the server so we were
able to reload the correct Schedule, but we are hesitant to do further
"experimentation"
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
