2003: Dropped Approved Time Sheet

M

Marsha East

A time sheet is filled out by Becca, a team member, on the
project server. The project manager receives an e-mail
notification that Becca's time sheet and other team
members' time sheets are awaiting approval on the project
server.

All the time sheets are accepted by the project manager in
mass. Everyone's time is updated in project, except for
Becca. Hence her hours appear on the project server, but
are not visible in the client software. Consequentially,
on the on the client software she appears to have neither
actual cost nor actual work.

Is this a bug? Is there a particular order in which time
is approved? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks...Marsha

Marsha,

While I'm not sure what might have caused only one team
member's time not to be published, I do have a
suggestion. Have you tried to republish the project
information? Go to Collaborate/Publish/Republish
Assignments. The dialog that appears will allow you to
select those assignments belonging to the person in
question (any any others for that matter). Check the box
labeled "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" and
click OK. Assuming there are actuals for this person in
the Project 2002 published plan, they will be repulished
to Project Server and should appear in the appropriate PWA
views.
