[2003] How to replace a resource

Hello,

In Project Server 2003, a task and its assignement have been published. I
need to replace the current resource by another one.
I publish again. Then I need to display the View Resource Assignments in PWA
2003.
But there, the task is shown as "Deleted" for the previous resource and the
PWA page is cluttered up with all this useless information.
How can I replace properly a resource by another one ?

You correctly replaced the first resource with the second. The cancelled
task shows up on the first resource's PWA timesheet and in the View Resource
Assignments page. Ask your Project Server administrator to refer to the
following FAQ for the steps needed to clean up cancelled tasks in PWA:
