2003 MDE not working properly in 2007

I have an apps that works well in 2003. The users receive and MDE from me
and and it all works if they are using Office 2003. In 2007 I get some
syntax errors and Date() gives #Name? instead.

I have checked the References in 2003 and they are as follows:

Visual Basic for Applications
Microsoft Access 11.0 Object Library
Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library
Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Extensibility 5.3
OLE Automation
Microsoft Office XP Web Components

I took the MDB to the 2007 machine and looked at the References and there
were non MISSING. The only difference was that Microsoft Access 12.0 Object
Library, instead of 11.0

Any suggestions???

Hi,
try to remove Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Extensibility 5.3 and
Microsoft Office XP Web Components if you do not use them, especially last
one can cause this error

Thank You Alex.

I will try that today.

I am not sure what Applications Extensibility and XP Web are doing there,
how they got there and what they are used for. I will remove them but don't
know what effect it will have on my current application.

I removed those two References and that did the trick.
