This isn't my first slide show with audio, so this is boggling me big time!
I add the (wav) audio file to a slide, it's set to play over 13 slides....
got the audio in there hit play and yes the file starts and sounds good. Now
I am trying to time my slide transitions through the slides and audio, so to
up and click "play show" . Everything starts and when the audio slide gets
there it plays without the wav file! Help! Please Someone! I'm on a
deadline!

Yes John it is set first to play after previous. DOes the file size make a
difference? It's a pretty big wav file. BUt says it's linked so does that
matter? Can't understand why it plays on the slide in single slide mode, but
not when I run the show... any other ideas?

Does setting it to play for 999 slides work?

Tried that didn't work either.... I tried this time and saw the little icon
for sound and it let me double click it to make it work, but as soon as I
went to the next slide the sound quit...ugh! I'm gonna be up all night so
keep throwing ideas at me please!
I tried timed rehersal also and the music came on but as soon as it went to
the next slide the audio stopped also. :(

Okay not sure what you mean by added sounds to the transisitions between
slides.
But I think I'm getting closer...
I have 97, 2003 and 2000 now. One quick question.... What is the difference
between "view show" and "rehearse timings"? When I try to view show before I
rehearse timings the sounds do not play. When I rehearse timings, they play.
BUt I can only get mp3 files to do it. Is it not suppose to play the audio
if I try to view show withough rehearse timings?
I added the audio like you mention, insert, movies/sounds, and then pick the
audio file to insert it. Another question what is the difference between
blue and yellow sound icons? Blue seems to come out of one speaker and
yellow the other, how do I make them all alike?
I origiinally had all wma files, downloaded a free converter to changed them
to wav files, (which I originally wanted to embed the audio) when that didn't
work I converted them to mp3. Ugh! Maybe I need to go out and purchase PP 07?
Thanks for all your help.
