2003 Trial Installation

I had installed the trial version of Publisher 2003 on my PC. A hd failure
shortly after had me obtaining a replacement hd and spending my free time
completing data recovery. Only now am I getting back to installing the
"luxury" software. Upon re-installing, I get the error message stating the
trial expired on Jan 31st, and I am unable to access even the most basic of
features. Any suggestions (MS does not support betas or trials).

If you activated Publisher on the old PC and you get that message when
trying to activate again now, you'll have to see if you can order yourself
another copy of the trial.

Failling that (especially in North America), I would buy a copy of
Publisher, and then return it within 30 days if you don't like it.
Microsoft issues a full refund.
