2003 upgrade - Powerpoint

I have just upgraded to Office 2003. I created a presentation and when I
try to open it, I get the message "Powerpoint cannot read ...."
I am also having trouble in saving and opening documents in Word.

If you are running Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the Office Plugin

After installing Office 2003 the first thing that you want to do is open
PowerPoint and go to Help > Check for Updates and follow the links for "Check
for Updates". When complete, Service Pack 1 will have been installed and your
problems should be corrected.
