2007 Automatic e-mail to assignee of issue

Hello All,

How can I configure that an e-mail will be sent to the assignee of an
project issue automatically when I create or modify the Assignee field of an
issue in the Sharepoint Project workspace of a project?

Hello Dave,
Thanks for replying, Yes I suppose they are configured, because when i
manually setup an alert for the issue list I do get an e-mail
