2007 beta and Acrobat 7 incompatability

I cannot get any word document to convert to pdf file using Adobe Acrobat 7
either opening the doc in word or selecting the file in Acrobat and selecting
create pdf.
Can anyone help?

You don't need Acrobat to create a PDF in Word 2007 because you
can "Save As" a PDF file.
