2007 define send/recieve problem.

Hi A user that has XP and Office 2007 uses Outlok to send and recieve mail
from a pop account.

Clicking on send and recieve does nothing. The only way to currently get
mail is to click Tools>send/recieve>'Download headers in this folder'
Then wai tfor the headers to come down, then mark them for download, then
back to Tools>send/recieve>Download mark headers .

So, Clicking on Tools>options>mail setup and the tne 'send/recieve' button
should allow me to define the folders I want to send and recieve.

The problem is here. Clicking on that button does nothing. Niether does
clicking on the little down arrow beside send/recieve > send/recieve
options>deine send/recieve options. Nothing happens.

Any ideas? The customer is a CEO, so his technical level is low, and his
anger is high.. And thoughts would be welcome.

Start with resetting his send/receive settings by renaming his srs-file to
..old.

Robery, thanks for the quick response.

I have searched for this file and gone to %appdata%\microsfot/outlook and I
can only find a few files. No .SRS I did try and find this file before I
posted the orginial mail. I have also cleared the contents of the directory
and removed the outlook profile. Ando reinstalled Office.

Any other thoughts?
