2007 home/student install over 2000

Hi,
I've bought 2007 home/student, but have 2000 business installed right now. I
have some publisher files I want to still use, and therefore need to know if
I can keep the publisher part of business 2000 working after I install the
new 2007 (because, 2007 student doesn't have publisher). Or do I have to
completely uninstall Office 2000 business before putting in the 2007 disk?

Thanks
David

No, you don't have to uninstall 2000 first. If you choose an upgrade
installation, then the 2007 installer will replace your Word 2000 and
Excel 2000 with the 2007 versions and install OneNote 2007, but it will
leave Outlook 2000 and Publisher 2000 on your computer. Or you can
choose a custom installation and keep Word 2000 and Excel 2000 alongside
their 2007 counterparts, but there could be some performance issues if
you choose to do this.
