Hello,

This morning Microsoft announce the availability of the preview release of
the 2007 Microsoft Office system. This is an UNSUPPORTED preview program
which includes the same version (Beta 2) that is going out to our existing
beta program participants. This includes an exiciting new release of
PowerPoint.

Here is some information about the Beta 2 version of Microsoft Office
PowerPoint 2007:

As with any pre-released software, we do not recommend that you install it
on your primary computer or use it to edit important files without making
appropriate backups (basically: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK). It is simply a
preview to allow customers that are interested to gain some early knowledge
and experience around the new look, features and capabilities of the system.

BONUS: This preview release of the 2007 Microsoft Office system can be
installed on the just announced the Windows Vista Customer Preview Program
(CPP) will start in the coming weeks
(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/) and which time you will be able to
see how Office and Windows Vista are better together.

For now, however, you can install the 2007 Microsoft Office system by
following the instructions at:

If you're not quite ready to install pre-released software on your system,
there will be an online, interactive "Test Drive" available in June 2006
(which doesn't require any installation or download).

Enjoy!!
