I am setting up EPM2007. In the 2003 version there is the ‘Manage Security’
admin web page that has a radio button that allowed the admin to specify 1)
Mixed mode authentication 2) Windows Authentication Only or 3) Project Server
Authentication Only.

I realize that 2007 support new type of authentication, however, is there a
similar ‘Manage Security’ web page that needs to be configured?

No, there is no such page. Your choices for authentication are Windows User
Account, which is configured automatically for every user who has a Windows
User Account value in their account. Your other choice is Forms
Authentication. To date, Microsoft has released no directions on how to set
up Forms Authentication. Once you set it up, you must specify that as the
method of authentication for each user account using that method of
authentication. Hope this helps.

Thank you for confirming. I was experiencing difficulty with AD accounts and
found out that I needed to use Windows Authentication and NOT forms.

All:

I think there's guidance out there, but everyone needs to remember that
non-Windows authentication is no longer provided in Project Server directly,
rather it's approached the same way you'd approach non-Windows
authentication for any SharePoint application.
