2007 not honoring ASAP

Using 2007. I have some tasks in various 2007 schedules that do not
honor ASAP. Example:

Task A finishes on 4.1.09
it is linked FS to "Task B", dur = 30d with a constraint type ALAP and
a finish date of 9.1.09

When I change the constraint type to ASAP, I should see the task move
to the left and start on 4.2.09 but
it does not. I can physically move it, in which case Project
automatically sets a constraint of SNET.

When I save the file to the 2003 format, and set the constraint to
ASAP, everything works as advertised.

Anybody know why it doesn't work in 2007?

Hi Glen,

In a very quick test with Project 2007 SP-1 and the Infrastructure
update, I cannot replicate what you post. Is your calculation set
to manual? (Tools > Options, Calculation tab) If you press F9 does
task B move as expected?
