I have Office 2007 Pro Trail loaded. I would like to purchase a upgrade but
have no idea how to do this. When I try to convert to full licence I get a
runaround that takes ma nowhere. Is the full version available and if so, how
can I purchase a key. After purchase will I be sent CD's?

Thanks

Can't upgrade from a trial version.

To buy from MS
http://www.microsoft.com/products/i...=22&pcid=fab9617a-57ff-4789-9397-6dac071b19b0

or otherwise visit a software store and purchase what you want there.

Does this mean that we have to uninstall the trial package, re-install
previous version, before installing 2007? I will probably have to go back to
Office 97, which is my only version that is not an upgrade!

Hi Looper,

The ability to convert a trial copy to a licensed product should be available on or about 31Jan2007 to coincide with the official
retail release of the product. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927756?fr=1
Conversion through the MS store does include the CD product being sent to you.

You may want to also check pricing for purchasing an Office 2007 retail packaged product from locations other than MS.

Hi John,

If you're using a retail-upgrade package of Office 2007 you won't need to install the prior Office version as long as you have the
CDs for that product, but the versions of Office that qualify for 2007 upgrade packages are Office 2000 or later.

Hi Bob,
Thank you for your response. I found my way into digital locker and was able
to feel my way through the dark and wrap things up. My copy of 07 Pro Upgrade
was retailed from Circuit City. Before I downloaded my upgrade I entered my
new licence key that came with my upgrade into my 07 Pro Trial version.
Within seconds I had licenced fully working software. Do you know if I will
recieve CD's for my products or if there some other aproach that I must take
to get them.

Thank you for your time. I enjoy reading the information that you provide.
Very useful and productive.

Bob,
Forgot that I had one more ? for you. Not totally sure about 07 Pro, I
elected to leave 03 Pro installed. As per some research it was determined
that this would not propose any problems and as expected it did outright
replace the prior version of outlook. Only issue that I am seeing so far is
that when I run Microsoft Live Update, it lists Office 2003 for updates but
shows nothing for Office 2007. Is this because threre are no updates for 07
yet or or is 03 trumping 07 not allowing me to get updates for 07?

Thank You

I thought some individual 2000 products, such as Access, qualified for the
entire Office 2007 upgrade.
