2007 outllook junk email message: Junk E-mail [4294967291]

My Junk E-mail folder now reads: Junk E-mail [4294967291]

Can't get the [4294967291] to show only the number of any emails in the
folder. Have emptied it so there is no emails, but it shows up. The color
of the number is as if it is a "read" mail. What is it and how do I get rid
of it.

Right click on the folder and choose Properties and see if the folder is set
to show total number of items or total number of unread items.

I had this same problem after I imported my email containing a folder I
created. Apparantly this happens when Outlook 2007 thinks there are negative
number of emails in the folder (even though I have no idea how it happened).
You can see this when you try to move an email to another folder and the list
of folders to move to shows a negative number in front of the folder in
question (in my case, it showed -5). So I moved 5 other emails to that folder
and the giant number disappeared, and never returned.

Now for the junk email folder might be different since it shows the number
of read emails (green). I dunno how it'll react, so if this doesn't work,
try going into the junk email properties and switching the colors to show how
many unread emails in the junk folder.

Hope this works
