[2007] Project Check in

N

Newbie

Hello,

In Project Server 2007, I have a project that I'm trying to check in for
several weeks.
The Job state is always : "Waiting to be processed". Where could be the
issue?
Thanks

Newbie,

Go to 'Server Settings - Manage Queue' and see if you are able to 'force'
the check-in there.
I think I read or heard that this is one of the bugs that have not been
resolved in the RTM version.

Hope this helps...

Hello Marc,

I'm *not* able to 'force' the check-in there. That's my problem... :-(

I can confirm Newbie's problem with the Queue. I have four processes stuck
in the Queue and cannot get the system to process them.

HI,

I have this problem since the beta version what you should do is cut your
losses becuase one of you jobs stuck it can stuck all the others. and the
work you think is being done on that project will be lost.

You need to stop the process first that by - server settings --> manage
queue -->Advanced Options --> check the two boxes--> mark the tasks stuck and
press cancel.

next go to Force Check-in Enterprise Objects --> check- in your project
Do not worry about the fact that the word canacel is next to your project
name ignore it

now check if all your data is saved

good luck
