Bob

I've looked many places, and can not seem to find the language pack\Proofing
Tools set to spell check Finnish and Swedish in Office 2007 Word. Are they
available yet? Where can I get them? I have a MSDN subscription that I am
using to install Office 2007. Thank you for your help!

Hi Bob,

MS Office 2007 retail release isn't until the end of the month. If prior editions are an indicator, groups of languages will be
released starting about that time over a period of several months as the tranlations are completed for the product. I haven't seen
a listing of dates for each language yet.

Thank you for the info! Bummer, though. We've been using it for some time
internally and there are people that need it yesterday (isn't that always the
case?). There was some indication on one of the threads that I read that
mentioned that the Office 2003 proofing tools may work with 2007... any truth
to that? We may need to go back to Office 2003 for the people that are
needing the spell check, which shouldn't be that painful.

Thanks again!

Hi Bob,

If the MS Office 2003 proofing tools for a particular language were already in place when the newer version of Office is installed
they may continue to work in the new version as well, but it's not really considered a 'supported' configuration. If you're using
the 2003 Proofing tools kit it would generally be looking to find a 2003 product installed.
