2007 Runtime Database not executing code

J

Jay Oken

I have a database that uses the 2007 Runtime. It has
over 160 installations but one new user cannot get it to work. The
installation worked fine but when the Front End is opened none of the code
is running. The computer has Windows XP with SP 3 and also Office XP. Anyone
have any thoughts?

BTW, the program installs to the MyDocuments folder which, by default, is a
trusted location.

The only thing I can think of is to check that the MyDocuments folder on that
user's computer really is set as a trusted location.

As I answered in another newsgroup to which you posted this same question,
see what Jeff Conrad has at http://accessjunkie.com/faq_33.aspx

Incidentally, if you feel you need to post to more than one group (HINT:
it's seldom necessary), please have the courtesy to cross-post (send the one
message to all groups at once), rather than multi-post (send individual
messages to each group). In this way, all responses to your post will be
available together, regardless of what group the responder was in, and the
rest of us won't have to read your post multiple times. (It also uses fewer
server resources)

I see you're using Outlook Express. Click the "Newsgroups:" label to the
left of the box containing the name of the current newsgroup. That will open
a dialog that will let you add additional newsgroups to your post.

Note that it's generally consider to be A Bad Thing to cross-post to more
than about 2 or 3 newsgroups.

Thanks Doug. I did not know how to post to multiple newsgroups at the same
time and usually do not post the same question to more than one group. The
other group, Developer Tools, often is not responded to so I thought it
appropriate to post here as well. Sorry if it was a bother but thanks for
responding.
