2007 saving as 2003

Whenever I save a Project 2007 as a 2000-2003 format project no one with
Project 2003 seems able to open it. Is it just me or do others have this
problem?

Thanks for any responses.

Hello Jeff,

There have been several reports about this problem in this newsgroup. I
have not personally seen it. I use both Project 2007 Professional and
Project 2003 Professional and can open files created in 2007 and saved
as 2003 without problem.

I could reproduce problems cited when the project files were password
protected, but just "regular" project files without passwords seem to
work fine.

In a quick google groups search of the project newsgroups, I don't see
any resolutions posted. I have also checked the connect site
http://connect.microsoft.com/feedback/SearchResults.aspx?SearchQuery=2003&SiteID=235
and have not seen any reports of this error nor obviously any fixes.

Sorry I don't have any better answers for you other than to say it has
been reported before. Sorry.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

I made changes to a Project 2003 file, using Project 2007. My screen
shows the file fine. The original user, when she opened my correct
file all her colors were gone.
