2007 text box shading black in prt preview

Hi there,
I have a problem with a text box color and font color in print preview mode.

In design mode the text box is fine, normal properties with white background
and black text. But in Print Preview (and when it prints) the text box
BackColor is black and the font is white.

I've deleted and recreated the box, deleted and re-created the report...out
of ideas.

Is this truly a text box or is it a listbox?

Oh good grief, you're right, didn't even think of that. I have no idea how
it became a List Box. In the past when I place a text field from the Field
List box on to a report, it always places it as a text box. Maybe it's a new
default with MS 2007??? which I've only had for a couple of weeks.

The listbox might have been the default control type if you had used a
dreaded lookup field in your table.
