2007 trial fully functional?

I was told by Microsoft that they do not support trials because trials are not fully functional. They said I could buy the full version and then get a refund if I had too much trouble.

Is that bull, or is the trial not fully functional?

They are functional but for a limited time and they do not support the trial
version.

Is it "fully" functional though? Sales said it was not.

version.

I would have asked them what part is not fully functional. I honestly don't
know. I thought it was.

From the Microsoft Office site:
Download a free trial
Download your choice of suites or programs from the 2007 Microsoft Office release from the Internet. Trial programs contain the same functionality that you get when you buy the perpetual versions — but only for a limited time.

Sounds like that person was ill-informed.
