TALL BILL

HI

I HAVE MS OFFICE 2003 STUDENT AND TEACHER EDITION VER 11.0.8173.0 AND
UPGRADEDD TO THE 2007 OFFICE 60 DAY TRIAL EDITION. AT THE END OF THE TRIAL
PERIOD I UPGRADED TO 2007 WORD ONLY. NOW OFFICE 2003 KEEPS GOING INTO
INSTALLATION MODE ALL THE TIME. I TRIED TO REPAIR FROM THE ADD / UPGRADE
PANEL AND IT COMES UP WITH A MESSAGE STATING THAT SEVERAL OF THE FILES IT
NEED ARE MISSING FROM MY ORIGINAL SOURCE DISK. IT IS CORRECT I CAN NOT FIND
THESE FILES ON THE DISK. I EVEN TRIED TO RE-INSTALL THE PROGRAM FROM THE
DISK, NO HELP, AND THE UN-INSTALL WILL NOT WORK, KEEP GETTING AN INSTALLATION
IN PROGRESS FAULT. WHAT CAN I DO?

Hi, TALL BILL,

Your words are tall, too. (A suggestion: avoid typing in ALL CAPS, as it
appears you are SHOUTING at us).

Uninstall Office 2007 AND the Office 2007 Activation Assistant, then Office
should stop doing this.

If that doesn't solve it, you may want to subsequently reinstall/repair
Office 2003.
