2008 charts are resized in 2007

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I built a worksheet in MAC 2008 with a number of charts. When a friend opens the workbook in windows 2007 the chart which were originally square are now wider than the originals.

Is there a fix for this that will make them look the same in versions?

Yes, have your friend switch to mac Office 2008. Due to screen
resolution differences, display cards, fonts, printer drivers, yada,
yada, yada you will never be able to have the charts appear identically.
Your best approach is to keep iterating to get it as close as you can;
and realize that they may look significantly different on another
friend's machine.

Switching to the mac version 2008 is pretty hard to do considering he has a PC not a Mac.

Next best thing is change fonts t o verdana which is an MS Font. an change the Fonts size from 12 pt (on your end) to 9 pt.

That way it will show up what size you want on the other end.

If you want it to look exact save as a PDF unless he needs to do work on it.

But not impossible, Robbo! Tell your friend he just needs to exert a little
willingness and effort here. Assure him that making the switch will be
worth it :)

Sorry, but Bob has told you the truth. The only way to get an exact match
for what you are seeing is to use a Mac (or for you to install Excel 2007
and Windows on your Mac...)

The next version of Mac Office will he heaps better in this regard: it is
being specially engineered to participate in the Office collaboration
workflow with its PC cousin.

Cheers
