2k3 and 2k installed. 2k3 only available

I installed Office 2000 and Powerpoint 2k3 into a seperate directory. I
only have 2k3 installed in case I receive a presentation from another
2k3 user, but i must use 2k on a day to day basis.

I have tried to set the file open default to ppt2k's exe, but the files
only open in 2k3. Any thoughts.

2003 files are can be read by all version back through 97 minus any Special
effects for any particular version. You can turn these off before you create
your presentation by clicking on Tools | Options | Edit | Check mark the 3
bottom Items "Disable new features"
