2nd instance of project

Hello,

I have created a 2nd instace of project server successfully; created a new
database for the closed projects, but now I would like to do is create a
sharepoint site for this so it is easy for the executives to access it, if
they want to do so. Should I have created another instance on the SQL server,
or what it correct to use a separate database? Has anyone had a simular
situation?

Stacy,

You can run another project server db on the same sql server instance. We do this and it works fine. We also run multiple sharepoint databases on the same sql server. You should be fine with that configuration.

I'm confused where you say "create a sharepoint site for this so it is easy for the executives to access it, if they want to do so."

What do you want the sharepoint site to do? Are you talking about making sharepoint sites for the closed projects available? What exactly are you trying to acheive?
