I have been working to install Excel 2000 on XP MCE 2005 SP2.
I'm supposed to install KB873380 MS04-027-WordPerfect Converter. I
did. The installation said it was successful.
However, I checked the file versions to see if they match the
ones listed in the security bulletin. They dont.
The security bulletin says for Office 2000, I should have
MSCONV97.DLL version 2003.1100.6252.0.
In fact, I have TWO files named msconv97.dll! And they are
different versions.
One is v. 2000.11.9.0 in C:\Program Files\Microsoft
ActiveSync,
The other is v. 2003.1100.6252.0 in C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Text Conv
The security bulletin sayd I should have a file called
"WPFT532.CNV_1033"m v. 2003.1100.6252.0.
However, I don't have that file on my system.
What's going on here? What should I do? Thanks!
