30 sec delay in opening of Outlook 2002

I just upgraded from Windows 2000 and Office 2000 to
Windows XP Pro and Office XP Pro. I have installed all
service packs and recommended updates. For some reason,
when I click on Outlook, it always takes just about
exactly 30 seconds to open. During that time, I have the
hourglass. After that, everything works OK.

Does anyone have any ideas or help? Thanks.

Try disabling Messenger integration;
Tools-> Options-> tab Other
