3020 Errors?

I started getting 3020 errors in Microsoft Access 2000 database I have
set up. I have one table that uses two forms for data entry. One of
the forms just has basic client information and the other form was set
up with 8 tabs due to the extent of the information. After setting up
the forms I imported the data into the basic client information form
and then went to the tab form to enter information. As I went back and
forth from the basic info form to the tabed form I started getting 3020
errors and could not enter information once this poped up.

After playing around with the tables I found that this was caused from
not closing the tab form before I went to the basic info form. When I
closed the tab form I did not get the errors.

What is the best way to close forms when going to another form. I know
that I can attach a macro to a button when going to another form to
close the present form, but is there another way to do that without
having to set up all those macros to close when moving from one form to
another?
