I've searched the newsgroups, but haven't quite found the answer to
this situation. The KB articles I could find seemed out of date for
this current issue.
We've got a new installation of Office 2003 on a laptop. The subject
error is produced when opening existing Access 2002/XP apps AND new
blank databases in Access 2003. The workgroup was also created in XP.
These applications run fine in production on other installations of
the same Office 2003.
There were older installations of Office on this laptop, but they've
been "cleaned" up with the Microsoft tools.
This is a tricky situation because it makes Access fairly USELESS on
this laptop.
